The grey wolf.

Sometimes he's here the grey wolf...

Like when I want to punch holes in pavements whilst talking to the sky.
He's the guy that's the blending wolf from
All that's black and white.
Feed which one to feed
I'll settle for the grey wolf sometimes
He's the one in the middle doing his best
The transition wolf
The pewter dark charcoal growl
The potential being realised
The progress howl ringing out in the night.
His coats like a chaos blue to silver black to white rough through.
He's my buddy everyday
He's black and white and also grey.
Sometimes she's here the grey wolf
Watching the way
When I want to punch holes in pavements
And take to the skies.
She's all that's never here but never left my side.
It's a pack of every shade
Every fur bleeding chime
Grey wolf full of everything
Those eyes deep in miles.

Ghoster - I like reading your poems. Sometimes the forums are quiet. Don't be disheartened nor take offence (not that you're saying that you are - I'm just concerned you might feel that way?)

A lot of people will probably us the 'like' function for a poem as opposed to comment specifically on the content? A poem is your intensely personal way of commenting on how you see things or the workings of your mind at one of the deepest, intuitive levels. I'm sure you know that this kind of communication is hard to critique or comment on outside of a specific kind of feedback forum and/or level of expertise?

Please keep writing and sharing. I think you're very good indeed.

I like it!
I'm constantly trying to figure out which one to feed.

I love the wolves take on recovery.
I remember visiting a seaside town called lynmouth few years ago in Devon England
It's a place with a troubled history a devastating flood ravaged the place many years ago and there is a lot of info pics etc as to how the disaster impacted the community... it such a small atmospheric little seaside place. I could imagine the flood coming down the valley to do its deed.
Haunting!
But back to the wolves in this little place.. . Lynmouth there is a gallery a little shop/ art gallery run by a chap called Maurice and his paintings of wolves are out of this world... mesmerising.
I'm going to look him up see if the place is still there. It was only about 5 years since I was there.

I toured Devon and Cornwall years ago, visited Lynmouth, quaint little place, our rooms overlooked the river valley were the flood must’ve raged....

I adore wolves, one of my dogs looks like one, the good white one of course, well a shade of grey when he’s a little disobedient. I used to collect art and I’d be glad if you PMd me Maurice’s link, if you find it, his paintings sound lovely.
