Welcome to SR Gareth! There is lots of good advice here. My strongest recommendation is to start by writing up a recovery plan for yourself. There's several threads on here about recovery plans - let me know if you want me to dig one up for you. Good luck, man. Sobriety has treated me pretty damn well so far!

I recommend reading the different forums here, lots of knowledge to be gained. If you have an urge, check to see are you hungry, angry, lonely or tired? (HALT) Eat right away. Avoid all the places you drank or bought booze. I had to take a different way home not to drive by the grocery store. Try to keep busy. Keep posting here, especially when you feel an urge. When I didnt post is when I would cave.
