SR New Year 2018 Time Zones Marathon
Hi, SR fellows!
Five years ago, when I was about 2,5 months sober, I posted my first New Year Time Zones Marathon thread.
SR community is all over the globe. And, I believe, it covers almost all the time zones.
For me my first alcohol-free New Year was a huge deal.
I was afraid the "magic" would disappear.
So, I thought: "What if the first members to welcome the New Year post and say a few words about how their Sober New Year looks like. Any pics are welcome".
Our friends from Australia usually kick it off. The Europe takes over, and so on.
Since then I start Time Zones marathon every year.
It will be my sixth sober New Year. And I love it.

It's already December 31 in my part of the world. The New Year is just around the corner.

This is a great thread idea.
Just after 5pm down here in southern Australia. The evening concert has kicked off and the sound is blown straight up here by the warm gusty winds.
Its gonna be a noisy evening I think..... The bars up the street will start filling soon.

10pm here in Aust. I think I'll be asleep before midnight. I thought I could go watch the fireworks, but I really felt like a drink today so I'm staying away from all that. Happy New Year SR family. You're an amazing bunch, you've helped me more than I could ever thank you for. Best wishes for 2018.
