I always have to be drinking something
Must be the addiction....and habit
- seltzer (maybe 8 cans a day)
- iced coffee (2 per day)
- water whenever
- Diet Coke (1 can pet day)
However I am always drinking something....almost like I’m convincing myself it’s mind altering or good for me.
Seltzer water to flush my system and hydrate (healthy kind with no sodium and 0’s across the ingredient list) and coffee and Diet Coke for caffeine.
I can’t just relax.....
I’m on day 38

I went to the store this past weekend and bought 3 different brands of flavored seltzer water, but I didn’t realize 2 were sweetened- one with stevia, one with some artificial sweetener. The other had no sweetener, just ‘natural’ flavor. I like them all okay, but I think I’ll stick with the unsweetened for the most part. Today I’m having San pellegrino- I used to think that was so pretentious. Hah! It’s a lot cheaper than a bottle of wine. Oh yeah, and it isn’t killing me. Drinking lots of coffee now. I heard someone else on SR say this too- when I was drinking I usually wanted a Gatorade or Hansen’s or even a sip of pickle juice in the AM. Always emergenC. Not really for the health benis- my body just told my mind that’s what it wanted. I still do the emergenC.

Oh, and I’ve had s couple chamomile teas at night. I used to drink tea a little bit way back in my early twenties. Never had any need for other beverages at night, so I’m interested in trying new ones. I’ll try the Red Bush- just looked it up, and it’s also called rooibos? I’ve seen that around...
I love red bush / rooibos tea. Just bought a new lots today - organic red bush chai. It's delicious.
Had to giggle at myself yesterday, turning up at my brothers for Boxing Day clutching my box of red bush tea bags. Couldn't risk his supply of tea. Oh well - at least it's not a bag of clinking spirit bottles any more.
