Merry Christmas!
I am setting up gifts under the tree for my daughter and hoping she is going to be so happy and excited tomorrow morning! AH was supposed to do it while I was putting her to bed, but he went to bed himself saying "I'll do it tomorrow." And "just kidding" by making hurtful comments to me.

This year I read a lot and listened to a lot of inspirational stories and it made me realize that we CAN be our own heroes in our lives. And our children's lives.

Mine has been nothing like I was wanting and yet so much more than I knew I needed.... lots of old pain for me to work through... my husband being able to step up in many GOOD ways.
Best Christmas gifts were time, peacefulness and a beautiful snowstorm.
