Sad Realities in AA

Went to a meeting today and found out that a a member passed (due to this disease) a few days ago.

The focus of the table was how valuable life is and that AA is here to help those of us that have this disease.

In life I'm known to joke around alot and be somewhat upbeat (way more than I use to be) but this program is something that I take very serious because of occurrences like this.

With the holidays coming up its tough to hear this kind of news. When we share our experience strength and hope it is important for us to listen and learn. Tomorrow is not promised and we have to live today as best we can.

Don't let regret, remorse and especially resentments make the drink be the go to move. YOUR life is worth much more than that.

Take care SR family and God Bless.
