Day 4

This is the longest I have gone in a long long time, but the other day I started to read about health complications and it scared the willies out of me. I have felt really good about it and strong until about an hour ago. Now I’m starting to realize I’m justifying things to myself and I am really feeling so much more healthy even after 4 days. I have so much more motivation and acceptance with it this time that I haven’t felt before. I know if I start again I will just fall into the same pattern and figure what’s the point in trying because you have failed so many times. I’m tying to stay busy and with it being the holidays I find it easier and cheerier so that’s helping me a lot. Anyway, just posting to get my thoughts out there.

Happy you're here SarBear. Its nice (for me at least) to have the wisdom of people on this site with a lot of time under their belts to help me along on this recovery journey, but it's ALSO nice to have the people with about the same amount of time as me (this is morning 5) who are going through the same things at the same time and let me know I am NOT crazy, or weak. Have a GREAT day!

Good morning ChloeRose yay for you and day 4!!!! 😁😁😁

Welcome back SarBear

You;re definitely on the right track - if you're worried about your health the best thing you can do is stay sober - it's got to help

You might even consider a full check up in the new year - I know it's scary but ultimately, you might be able to put your mind at rest?
