What’s one thing you will do today to help stay sober?

I’m going for three healthy meals, including one nice big salad for lunch. And a little less Christmas cookies. Day 30 for me.

What will you do today to stay sober?

Have a great day!!

Same as every day for the past 3 months or so...be available and present for my family. Look into my kids eyes and remind myself that I can never drink again if I want the best for them.

Only day 3... but everyone starts somewhere...
SR - reading new posts and also re-reading my Saturday night post. I NEVER want to be there again.
Eating (healthy) through out the day to keep my blood sugar stable.
AA meeting after work to stay the course.
Hope everyone has a wonderful (sober) day!

One thing I just did was "unlike" all the alcohol related pages on Facebook. Good-bye local pubs, good-bye LCBO, good-bye Steamwhistle ... and so on and so forth.

I am going to walk my dogs (it's warm out) as a reminder of the good care I give them when I'm sober.

Make someone else's day better.

Practice gratitude and kindness.

Helping others is a sure way to enrich one's own recovery.

Tea, in general, is good for you, its an herb!

They have so many flavors,
during the day I find one with caffeine, I am on a pumpkin spice chia right now
At night, I like a calm tea with chamomile in it

Work all day, then gym, then supper with the family, then a nice cup of hot herbal tea , watch the bad snowstorm roll in. Bed round 8-9 pm.

1. Check in and participate in SR daily
2. Go to the gym, and beat my previous records.

day 11 for me, and the real start to a new chapter of my life.

Have a good day.

Day 2. I know I'm not going to sleep tonight anyway, so I gave myself permission to drink this delicious coffee as late in the day as I want to, and remember how shaky my hands were yesterday. Maybe I'll make a gratitude list, in non shaky handwriting, or crochet something to remind me how much I appreciate my steady hands.

Nice work everyone. Few more hours in the night for me...spending it now sipping some seltzer water and finalizing a work proposal.

Tomorrow is a big day for me...one month!
