I have been dealing w alcohol abuse/use for about two years now. There's a few days here of there I don't drink. Or just a beer or two. But at this point I feels it's literally making me I'll. Horrendous anxiety during hang overs where I feel like I'm gonna have a heart attack!! Chest pains that go down my left arm etc. Very scary!! Today I've been getting hot flashes all day from yesterday's binge..smh I'm so down w this craziness. Plus I've been spending money recklessly while drinking. Smoke ALOT of cigs too when drunk. Like my grandfather would say "burning the candle at both ends" smh called out of work today. Hope i don't loose my job :/ this gotta stop!!

Welcome, and I'm glad you found us. It sounds like you're ready to stop drinking. I had terrible anxiety attacks when I was drinking too, just debilitating.
