Good morning!
Hi everyone.
I just joined as I am looking for somewhere for a distraction for when I am staying home instead of going out partying and drinking. I am currently 34 days sober.
Longest ever.
I can't quite manage going out and staying out around drunk friends. Not without the temptation.
Anyway, just saying hi. Looking forward to chatting to people here

Welcome, Tia! You came to a good place. Lots of nice supportive people and a ton of stuff to read when you're looking to distract yourself for a few minutes or hours.

I'm glad you posted, and you're right about making lifestyle changes. I couldn't be around alcohol for quite some time when I stopped drinking.

This is a very wise realization for you to have. This place is wonderful for information and support if sobriety is what you're looking for.
