Hopefully I'm posting in the correct spot. Getting ready to go to a family birthday party. Probably first time without drinking. Ijournaled to clarify what I am most anxious about and discovered that I'm most anxious about being so anxious that I embarrass myself. 😜
Anyway I know I won't drink because I'm taking a quarter of an Antabuse ; I just have to survive mentally and emotionally. I feel good that I am embarking on soBer living. I hope you are all having a successful day and getting stronger and happier. That's for letting me connect. Wilma

Glad you shared. I am not sure the details of the event or your relationship with family, but I know that I always have an exit strategy to use if needed!

Thanks I enjoyed it a lot more than I expected. I stayed busy playing with the kids and felt good about myself.

Actually Dee his idea was the whole pill but I don't like the SE. 1/4 seems to do the trick for me, as long as I take it each day.
