Welcome, TrashPanda! There is a lot of great info here and support from people who really understand; SR has been a huge part of my recovery. 3 days is awesome-just stay strong and keep up the good work-and I hope you stick around here. Wishing you strength and peace on your sober journey.
Welcome, we are all here for the same general reason. Its basically that we are alcoholics or addicts. SR is brilliant and its what you make of it.
You have 3 days so build on that.
Dump all drink.
Post and read.
Want it bad enough.
Take it ODAAT.

Welcome TrashPanda.
In the early days I stayed busy, I also changed my daily routine as much as I could, made sure I ate regularly and if I craved, then I ate something sugary.
I joined the class of the month in June and posted and read everyday.
I also read up on alcoholism, so I had a better idea of what I was up against.
I still take it a day at a time and every morning before I get out of bed, I reaffirm that message, that I only have to get through today.
I'm 4 months sober, the longest I have managed in over 15 years and when I've struggled there has always been support and help here.
