Not so clever
Hi everyone.... Just a note ..I'm going back into Rehab on Monday. Almost exactly 12months after I first set out on this journey....that first wonderful dream lasted all of 90 days ..before I got lost again!. All I ask from those of you who feel you can ...is to remember Me in your prayers....I need to make it this time ...second chances are few and far between and I was lucky to get this one.

Hi Joe,
It's good to hear from you again and I'm sorry things haven't been going well. Going back into rehab is a good decision and I know you'll be just fine. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Good luck, Joe and I will certainly remember you in my prayers. None of us can ever think we have it licked and going 90 days is such a great accomplishment. You can and will do it!!

Sometimes I ask the question,
"My Lord, is this your will?"
It's then I hear you answer me,
"My Precious Child... be still."
Sometimes I feel frustrated,
Cause I think I know what's best.

"My Busy Child... just rest"

Many Thank's to all of you ..when I have a good number of day's of recovery I'll be able to get back online ...(at the centre I'm attending I won't be allowed out ..or online for a few week's).
I know that the real joy of recovery is that in helping yourself you are able to recieve the gift of being able to help others ...I lost that gift when I lost My recovery ....so ..My bags are packed ...I can't say anything with confidence or truth until I come back ...except that when I have been most lost! and adrift..when I couldn't return to AA meetings that I'd attended regularly for fear and shame that I'd failed ..and of what they'd think! I have always found friendship and understanding here on SR
