I'm new :)
Hi this is my first post, I have recently admitted I am an alcoholic and joined AA last Friday, I was drinking every day my poison is wine, I am very close to losing my job, house boyfriend the works and realise time to take action x

Hi and welcome! I joined AA and admitted I was an alcoholic and today I'm coming up on 3 years without a drink. I have a great job in my career, a good house, friends, family etc. It can be done! Keep putting one foot in front of the other and you will get there. If you want to stay sober you can and WILL.

Welcome to the family. 
You'll find lots of support here so use it to help get yourself sober for good. Wine was also my drink, and like Leigh said, life is much better without it.

Welcome 😊 Wino here too. I’m 12 days sober today and it’s very hard. But the good news is I hear it gets easier and this forum has been everything for me..such a supportive place to come and find help, information and anything else you might be looking for. The fact that you came here is a great step forward to getting and staying sober. Keep coming back! Prayers 🙏🏼
