Feel So Good

I知 twelve days sober and I知 so happy I quit. Music on the way to work is so enjoyable compared to trying not to drive off the road because I was so hungover. My girlfriend is going through a really tough time and I will be more present and available to her. I知 better at work as well. I知 not looking back.

Great job! I love watching the sunrise while driving to work. Rather than freaking out because of the withdrawals. Keep it up.

"Being there" for friends and family is one of the great gifts of sobriety. Hope that you continue to see the rewards. Well done. Keep it up.

I agree about music! Went to work yesterday, put on my headphones and listened to beautiful tunes while cranking g through tasks. No way would that happen hungover. Day 33.

Yep, waking up sober and not paralyzed with Anxiety is awesome. Great job and keep it going!

I am on Day 3 after a significant relapse. And even the way I feel now, and not even 100%, I am baffled why the f*** I did, or ever will, pick up the booze again. Addiction is a MFer.

It seems that, most of the time in life, you have to endure feeling a bit bad before you can feel really good. Quitting sucks, but without that suckage, you will never regain those natural highs you get when sober.
