A little humour on my name ,what ever works for you
Humour in UK Humor in US ,you know what I mean :-) .
Ayway my new name here HPDW is based on what my favourite saint always said which was pray hope don't worry( PHDW) but I spoke to St Padre Pio metaphorically of course ( he was known to be a funny man ) and told him I like HPDW as it suggests I have a higher power and don't worry HPDW . I heard him reply( no i'm not drunk )(in my imagination) " What ever works for you " .

Thats Awesome! My grand parents in Italy knew him personally and had him over for visits and dinner a few times a year.
My mom who was very little at the time described him as a very fun loving, kind and generous man who always would joke around , do tricks for the kids etc

I prayed to Padre Pio during his canonization period and had small picture of him in my child's room. My prayer was answered.

I wanted to say I am no Holy Joe or bible basher but have tremendous spiritual leanings . It is now ,after all this time trying and failing to stay sober that is my NUMBER ONE tool . Knowing that a higher power is guiding me is enough .
