At therapy today...
Water/memory reconnections of swimming pools and really good times in my life.... from when I was a child, when my adult children were growing up, this past year... specific places, blue skies, fun and laughter.
It was a sweet reprieve from dealing with repressed memories that have been coming up. I'm starting to trust the process more and, just for today, am not fearing the new memories coming through or my future.

I took a nap today.
A re-charging, relaxing, completely letting-go-of-everything nap. In the past month, as therapy was ramping up and dealing with a lot of trauma, it has been really hard, and yet lots of body stress has been melting away. Re-directing away from the trauma and connecting good points in my life was like a big "okay" for more trauma to gently be recognized and released. Now suddenly today I hit a point of recognizing exhaustion and was able to listen to my body, curled up in bed and slept very deeply.
This level of healing FEELS different than anything I've hit on before.
I'm so very grateful to be alive, to have time to rest, and to awake to having peace and laughter in my life.
