A day of gratitude - what are you thankful for?

Today I am thankful for the hard times. It sounds insane, but I am. I am thankful that God brought a lesson to me. I’m a very slow learner. I know there is value in what is there to help me to grow and to bring love.

What are you grateful for this Thanksgiving?

My best moment yesterday was my 11 year old nephew calling me from the grocery store to ask for a list of ingredients to a family recipe for potato rolls. I am so grateful for this. He is a wonderful kid and that he called made me feel part of a tribe.

That is wonderful BK! A child brings so much light. You are clearly a part of his tribe

I'm grateful to be sober on Thanksgiving. This is the first sober one for as long as I can remember.....
I can drive safely to my friends home for dinner, and know that I won't make a fool of myself.
I can call my family and know that I won't be an emotional wreck or feel depressed that I'm alone.
I can take charge of my life and embrace sobriety, so thankful to feel love for myself today!

Blessings to everyone this holiday season

I'm grateful for all of you, hubs and puppy, the beautiful forest I hiked in today,
the fresh turkey w/ trimmings I just prepared and ate.

Smarie, you will get there, truly. . .

BKA, glad you have such a great nephew,
and wildflower, congrats on your sober Thanksgiving--
I'm sober too and I know how wonderful that feeling is
that you are all present and accounted for on a holiday.
May this be the first of many, many more

IRL, I have been running a fever and have a bad soar throat and a cough. I'm so grateful for family and friends who have checked on me and made sure to bring plates of food to my house because I couldn't make it to the celebration.

I am grateful I took action this year. My life is so much better. My husband and children were there for me during this difficult Thanksgiving forging new traditions and memories.

I'm grateful for Bulletproof coffee, sunshine and not needing to be strong right now.
