Thanksgiving plans are made and I’m happy!
I’ve been super upset that I won’t see family nor have anyone to cook for. I’ve struggled with wanting to drink. I had a brilliant idea.
I work part time at a retail store. A lot of them have to be there at 3 am Friday morning. I had an idea to cook breakfast for them. So I stopped by the store on lunch to make sure it’s ok with my manager. He is fine with it!!! So tomorrow evening I will get everything prepped and in the crockpot so I can deliver my coworkers a nice hot breakfast before the store opens at 7 am.
This makes me happy. Gives me something to look forward to and helps with the urge to drink away the day.
I’m still planning on the noon AA meeting and will do whatever it takes to go to bed sober tomorrow night.
