Still here

Dunno whet day this is. 10? I watched the movie Flight. I want to believe There’s hope and a plan for me. I listened to a Ted talk about meditation. I want to be happy. I can’t drink. My kid is watching me. My ex is watching me. My therapist is watching me. I just want something to look forward to.

Congrats on day 10 Pressme. Keep doing all those things you are doing...it will get better. Also remember that it's going to take time...10 days is great, but it's still very early in sobriety. Your body and your mind need time to heal.

Sounds like the beginning of plan press--
hang in there--as I recall when you stopped before,
you really started to build momentum the further you were
from the last drink.

You can do this--

Try doing something that you like doing that isn't alcohol? Maybe an outing with the money you've saved and go do bumper cars with the family or something that is a bit silly and you can all joke and laugh together.

Congrats on 10 days!

Sobriety is amazing. AMAZING. I've never felt better or been happier. I miss the feeling of being drunk as much as I'd miss a migraine headache.

Sobriety. THAT's something to look forward to. You'll get there sooner rather than later as long as you work it.

Day 10? Not so much fun.

Hang in there, and get as much help as you need. Please.

Look forwards to the impression you are making on your kid, the kind of parent you want and will be.

I like the advice above. How about saving your money and tratkmg yourself and your fam?
