Back again for the 4th time
Man....here we go again. I joined this forum almost 6 years ago and have learned a lot. The main thing I learned is that I've hardly been trying lol. I think this is my 4th attempt on here to quit. Im a binge drinker drinking 2-3 times a week ( 15-20 pints of beer at a time ).... all or nothing for me. I think the longest I went without drinking in the last 6 years is 10 days. This is my last attempt on my own before I seek professional help. Ok ...help lol. Thanks
Welcome back.
Why don't you just skip to the professional help part...or at least involvement in a structured program of recovery. Because you don't have a very good track record trying it own your own.

I'm not sure what you've tried in the past, but take a look at our Sticky on Recovery Programs and tips we've all used for stopping drinking:

Welcome back Mark. I'd tend to agree with Carl - unless you have decided on doing something different this time around? It's not too hard to figure out that if you don't put a lot into your sobriety, you won't get much back out, right?
