Pain?

I'm on day 2 and experiencing pain, headache and fatigue. The voice in my head is saying "a drink would help" but I'm doing my best to counter with a positive message. This is so difficult! Hoping it gets a little easier in the coming days

what kind of pain and where? Pain is never good, and could be something serious and/or unrelated to your alcohol use. You should go see a doctor.

Whiffle,
The voice in your head wants you to keep destroying yourself and it may get louder over the next few days. Ignore it and keep on going - in just a few days the worst symptoms should be over. Baby steps, focus all the energy you have on not drinking today and then the same again tomorrow and things will slowly start to improve.

Don't listen to that voice whiffle, the drink is the reason you have the pain and fatigue. Don't rule out checking with a doctor if the pain is too bad, always better to be safe than sorry!

I hope you get through the headache and fatigue. It will definitely get better, but only by going through it. As Scott said, talk to your dr if you're concerned. Good job on Day 2!

Hope you're feeling a little better now Whiffle.
If you drank again, you'd just have the headache and fatigue worse tomorrow.

Whiffle - When I first quit I had aches & pains everywhere. It's a huge adjustment our body is making. You'll go through many changes as you heal. Look forward to a brand new day.
