4.5 months then had a drink.

I drank yesterday 350ml of vodka. It was on the label 13 units. I woke after 10 hours with sore head. gnawing feeling WTF. Nothing major or minor happened. Now 24 hours later I still feel not quite right. Alcohol is a curiosity and I am the cat.

I'm sorry that you relapsed. Are you planning to try to stop drinking again? I hope so.

I hope you stop drinking before it kills you.

don't assume you have eight lives remaining!

sorry to hear that you drank - I'm on 4.5ish months too. do you know what triggered you to pick up?

I’m really sorry to hear that Stephen. I was actually wondering how you were getting on only yesterday. I did a similar thing a few years ago after a decent amount of sober time. I then bounced around for 18 months and here I am back again. Don’t make my mistake if you can help it.

That sucks! BTDT. Sorry to hear of your relapse. Learn from the experience, pick yourself up and keep going. I did, many times and I'm SO glad that I never gave up. You can do this!

Sorry the disease got the better of you yesterday. I feel as though I'm headed for a relapse myself. I got a script of Vicodin because of my tooth even though it doesn't hurt and it's taking everything I've got to not take some.

I thought I had it licked a bunch of times.
I confused abstinence for control - they're not the same.

I needed to accept that every time I drank I'd end up in the same place sooner or later.

Think about what you could add to your programme this time to make it more robust?
