It helps you "ease into your day"? And "there's no reason you can't drink Breakfast Gin any time of day"?

A great big fat W T F on that...who thinks of this crap?

Saw this in a different section of the forum a while ago. Just about as stupid:

So ridic.

It's like those big bowls you see in the store that say "Popcorn." Like there is only one bowl suitable for popcorn, and only popcorn.

I agree that this is probably not a good idea for a thread, but gin was never my thing...and I don't drink anymore anyway.

Wow, I just looked at that other thread. I have lots of comments about that. There are lots of moms in my neighborhood who are stay-at-home. They put their kids on the bus at 8, the kids come home at 4, the moms go to the gym, go shopping, have someone clean their house (even though they are at home all day), and spend their time on Amazon - yet they have to 'unwind' after a stressful day and all stand around in each others' driveways everynight with huge glasses of wine!!

Sorry to rant.

I think they may have misjudged the breakfast-time drinking market if they think their customers are going to be interested in the botanicals.

Yeah, those botanicals make it, you know, HEALTHY.

SMDH.

My AW would probably just say, "Well, I'm drinking tea for breakfast" (It has Earl Grey tea in it). The rationalizations of an addict.

Just another way to market booze IMO. This looks like it is targeted towards millenials who are into "craft spirits".

Real alcoholics just drink cheap-o vodka as a "breakfast vodka". Cause it does not smell, you know (false). Jk

XAH sort of ruined alcohol for me for a while- I used to enjoy occasional drink (maybe two per month max)

Wine mom trend is, indeed, concerning. I have an acquaintance who received a large wine glass with writing "I like to sip on my Chardonnay-nay" from her 12 year old daughter and proudly posted it on FB. No judgement here - but no bueno in my book.

I agree with Nata-just a gimmick for those swayed by the botanicals.

The tackier consumers will leave the bottle out for the humor it provides. Remember, not everyone is dealing with an alcoholic loved one. Many people would find this utterly ridiculous.

This is about as bad as the 'wine purse'. Does anyone remember that one. It was selling like "hot cakes". It held a bag of wine and had a hidden hole for the spigot/tap on the outside. Unbelievable!
