133 days...
I cannot even wrap my mind around the changes on my life since I put down the poison.
I made over 275 AA meetings in 90 days. I was unemployed, so my sobriety became my job and it was worth every second! I got a sponsor and am working on my 6th step.
I got a new job and was given a raise in the first week bc they were so impressed with my skills. Unheard-of!
I met a new (sober) man and that is going swimmingly. No complaints, ours is a very low pressure, easy "thing". It's nice to be understood.
Life is coming together beyond what I truly deserve.
It's still life, and I still am separated from my child...I haven't seen her since July but will spend Thanksgiving together. We talk at least twice daily. Life on life's terms. Surrender and acceptance, constantly and consistently.
In all honesty, if I hadn't stopped drinking I would probably be dead by now. At 40 years old. I felt the pancreatitis coming back.
I'm so glad I stayed on the Sober bus with *you all*, my comrades, who were so supportive and understanding. Much love to you all! Thank you! I was certain I was never going to survive without alcohol and here I am thriving!
So thankful.
Take gentle care of yourselves.
You can do ANYTHING & you are totally worth it.
I really missed ME...lol. I'm so glad to be back!
