Day 9
It's day 9 for me and I'm feeling pretty good. Been listening to sobriety and recovery podcasts, reading books related to addiction and recovery and using the Daybreak app. Also doing an online 30 day course which is helping immensely.
Plan to add exercise to my sobriety toolkit this week and continue taking this one day at a time- my mind likes to jump ahead to question how I will cope with birthdays, Christmas etc, but as long as I continue to stay focused on each day, I can ignore that.
A quote I read a few days ago is helping too
" Build a wall around the day and don't look over it".
