What better gift than to give him a sober mom? He’s an adult so he doesn’t live with me, but it’s still a great gift. I poured out the vodka and mixers this morning.

Since I haven’t been on here I guess you know I’ve been drinking. I work today until 9 pm so that’s gonna help me today. In the morning I’m going to an AA meeting. There are meetings throughout the day and I’ll go to as many as I need to so I can stay sober tomorrow.

I see my therapist Wednesday. I’m really glad. I need to talk to her. I’m going to reflect on our past meetings and use the tools she gave me.

Here’s to day one. Happy birthday my sweet son!!!

Also to keep me from buying any alcohol when I get off work, I’m not taking any money with me to work. Just my drivers license. I know if I have to come home to get money the chances of me going back out are slim.
