welcome starr - i've been here for about 4 months and i thank God that he led me to this site and al-anon. this place is a wonderful supplement to other recovery tools. come back often and dip in the well of knowledge, sharing, support and love here.

Hi Starr. I've been coming for over 2 yrs now and I can tell you this is a terrific place. I'd like to invite you (and eveyone else) to the online meeting tonight - Monday. Its at 9 pm CST, 7 PM on the west coast and 10 PM on the east coast. It's sort of an introduction to Al Anon and Nar Anon, like a beginner's meeting.

Anyway, glad you're here and working on yourself.

Hi Starr, and all of you. This is my first time, so I'm new here too.
I just had a crying jag at work this morning and am so frustrated. I thought it
was all under control and I could handle it. This morning, God sent me four "angels", one by email, and three walking by my door, two of them with hugs, and all of them sharing things which they didn't realize I needed to hear. I realize that I could use more of that, so here I am looking for it. I am liking the quotations and I am hoping to be supportive sometime too.
