ONLINE meeting tonight - Monday

Thank Goodness it's Monday! Please join me tonight for an online meeting for Friends and Family of Alcoholics and Addicts. It's a casual format, come as you are. We encourage and welcome those of you who are new, and those of you who haven't been able to get to face to face meetings yet.

I have never been to a meeting and today is the first day I have decided to try to get support from outside myself and my sisters. My AH does not think that his drinking is a problem, because he works and doesn't drink until the weekend. I decided I need something when I realized how hurt I am....he dwells on things when he's drinking and, of course, any problem we have is my fault, and also, he doesn't want to hear anything I might have to say about the problem so he just closes his ears and doesn't let me speak. I have decided that's OK...I can't argue with a drunk...but it hurts and I need somewhere to go with those feelings. I am hoping this is the right place to be.
