I feel bad for him in a way. We have a young woman in our section who contacted me individually about the strange and inappropriate messages. I had told her what I believed to be happening based on history with this guy. This is the same man who was drunk and slurring his words on a conference call a couple of months ago.

Under other circumstances I would say that his job might be in jeopardy, but I believe our manager drinks to excess as well.

I really need a new job...

The coastal areas of the state are flooded. There are many, many trees down here. Across roads, onto cars and houses. Lots of power outages. Amazingly, I still,have power at the moment, although the lights have been flickering quite a bit. I may but on my boots and a hard hat and go begin picking up fallen limbs in my yard.

I'm OK! I decided not to go outside and pick up limbs yet after opening the door and seeing the trees still bending around in the wind.

I can't imagine how folks are doing in Florida and Texas and Louisiana and Montana with the fires! I hope and pray that clean up and recovery will go smoothly!!
