Hello,
New to this site and looking for support. I have been trying for almost twenty years to gain sobriety. Alcohol has almost taken my life more than once and I need as much support as I can get. Thanks

I have been trying for years too. Last weekends binge was a wake up. I woke up with pain near my liver. Haven't gone to doc yet I quit drinking Monday and feel better now, just find it hard to sleep. I used to just knock myself out at night.Good luck to you.

Yes Joe, the pain in the liver is scary. You really know the issue is getting real when your body reacts more than just a hangover or some shakes right? It certainly is a struggle it's like some demon is inside with it's finger on the self destruct. It's a blessing this site is here and there are people to reach out to. Good luck to you too!
