30 days!
30 days!
WOW! It's been 30 days today. 30 days of healing, learning, gaining strength both spiritually and emotionally, among so many other things.
Sobriety for me this time is different than when I quit drinking for pregnancies or because I felt forced. I guess it would be better to say those times were "dry" times, not sober times.
I am SOBER. And it feels GREAT. I figure the worst is yet to come, but I prepare myself for it a little every day. I will be ready. I have a very short list of proud achievements, but sobriety will continue to be my #1 proud achievement with every passing day.
You people have been a saving grace. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your journeys and for helping others like me. I look forward to a continued relationship of support and success!
