Worlds apart 🌏

Today I had to do one of the most emotionally challenging things my professional requires me to do. In the past I would have got a bottle of wine and a takeaway this evening in order to manage the stress/fallout from the task I had to do today. Instead I went with friends to a ((Bounce)) exercise class...it was absolutely fantastic...and then I came home to a healthy well balanced meal. Two very different ways of coping...and I know which one I prefer 💜

Congratulations! It's crazy how the AV will lie to you to make you think hurting yourself will make you feel better.

I'm so glad you found far better and healthier alternatives ))

How wonderful, nova. True progress. We're so proud of you.
We're finally learning that alcohol doesn't actually help us cope with anything - just adds to our anxiety.

That's great(not your trigger, but the way handled)! I wanted to "fire" one of my clients today, but didn't and went with a run/gym/food decision instead. Nothing positive can be a bad thing is my new 'thinking'..
