I have 40 days today
The big 4-0! I went to only 3 meetings last week and I am trying to get to at least 5 or 6 meetings today. I noticed when I was going to 6 meetings a week in the beginning and dropped down to 3, the difference was VERY noticeable and I started to isolate on days that I didn't go to meetings. This is such a weird disease. Yes, you can take out the substance/usage but the underlying problem is the severe feelings of isolation and emptiness.
I almost feel unmotivated when I go to less meetings. I am not sure what it is about the meetings that pushes me along. Maybe it's just seeing that other people are struggling as well.
