Stopping to say Hi at 65 days!
Stopping to say Hi at 65 days!
Life living sober is certainly busy!!
Between AA meetings 3 or 4 times/week, meeting and hanging out with new sober friends, work and spending time with my new dog all without chaos or anxiety, is amazing!
I'm sorry I don't post here more often. I want to and always plan to, but then I find another day has passed.
My parents are in from Michigan to visit my Dad's sister, my Aunt, who is not well. They are on their way over to see my new place and we're going to lunch.
2 months ago I wouldn't even have been up, let alone showered or dressed to go and would dread the entire event.
Now, I've been up since 7 a.m. walked my dog twice, spent time at the pool, showered, dressed, did laundry, vacuumed and am just waiting with happy anticipation to see them.
I am blessed and grateful for this new chance at life.
I hear people say it only gets better and I can't even imagine it getting better than this!
