1 year!
1 year!
One year today! As this forum is for newcomers here are the best pieces of advice I can give from where I stand;
- it also seemed impossible to me one year ago.
- sobriety didn't just happen. It took an honest look at myself, planning, perseverance, and it got a lot worse before it started getting better.
- sobriety is by no means the same thing as happiness, but being sober allows you to work on being happy.
As for me I am the happiest I have ever been. Bring on the next year!

Congratulations on your year!
One step at a time. I promise you this changes. I couldn't see myself getting to a month, but now it s just normality.
Stay strong, stay focused, soon you ll enjoy sobriety way more than you did drinking.

I met you in the Class of August 2016 class. I wish I could say I was joining you on 1 year.... Your journey continues to be a huge motivator to me. It takes some us many trial and errors! Way to go! Very PROUD Mr. PL!!
