I dunno what it is... But today I have been feeling down.

Maybe it's the weather or atmosphere .. Maybe the stars aren't aligned perfectly for me today.. I dunno.

I chalk it up to "life" and know I can't feel "great and joyful" every moment.

So I made a cup of coffee and grabbed a couple Oreo's from the package that my wife hides from me ... LOL.

I'm feeling better!

I love it...I was in the same kind of mood yesterday evening...had a great weekend and probably worked myself too hard....feeling a little down as my wife drank her post dinner wine...I sat there for a few minutes and said the heck with it....jumped in the truck and ran to the DQ and got a blizzard...put a smile on my face....Way to go Rider...treating ourselves on occasion is a much needed thing. Heres to the little things! D

I learned that just because I dont drink
alcohol anymore and learning new healthy
ways to enjoy living life alcohol free, I can
still laugh, have fun, crack jokes and enjoy
all those little things life offers to us.

That we shouldnt be a bunch of glum lots.

You enjoy those cookies and remember
everything in moderation and balance
for a healthier, happier you in recovery.
