Over two years sober!
Over two years sober!
Hi all, long time no speak!
I thought I would come back and say hi!
I am pleased to say that on 02nd October this year it will be three years that I have been sober!
I couldn't have done it without your help and AA.
I want every newbie to know that at the start it's not easy, but it does get easier! I have cravings and can't shake them some days, but I keep going and every day sober is another day alive and free!
You can do this!

I really feel like once one has a bit of sober time under their belt that they experience a sober momentum (so to speak) that keeps going and going and makes the journey easier and easier. Yes, those early months are tough, but if you can soldier on and get to a certain point where you start to feel more comfortable in your substance free skin, then the intense cravings of early sobriety diminish. If it was easy, you wouldn't see so many relapse. Just keep saying in your mind that you only have to feel this way once. I made it so hard for myself and kept doing the first 90 days over and over again.
