Day 1

I finally took the plunge. I've been reading articles and plan to see my therapist weekly indefinitely.

Tonight I'm watching a movie and cooked dinner. It's tough because I had a stressful day and had thoughts of how I couldn't wait to get home for a drink. I immediately dismissed those thoughts. I came home and cleaned out any leftover alcohol and mixers.

Today I won't drink.

Good job Sinderos. Stress is always something that leads me to the bottle. I am only just beginning my journey as well. I'm on day 2. Let's do this together and free ourselves from alcohol

You can do this

I'm going to read up on the articles you've posted about having a recovery plan. Then I'm going to figure out one for myself. I'm going to listen to my therapist and implement any recommendations she makes.
