No not on mobile device, strange other people can thank on my posts but I cant see the thanks button, strange, just wondered if I had pressed something or not

I echo to not let it get to you. Many people read without responding or thanking, while still gaining from the information.

People tend to dive in especially to help new people and those in crisis, which makes sense. Some posts are more routine, but doesn't mean they are not appreciated.

you won't see the THANKS button on a your own posts - for example on this reply i won't see the THANKS button either.

Oh right, thought I saw it before, thought perhaps I had pressed something and I had done something to my settings, thanks very much indeed that explains it

If you get logged off automatically the thanks disappears until you log in again.

You may be logged out, Mummyto2.
The thanks button is visible only if you are logged in.
You can see posts if you aren't logged in, but you can't post or get thanks.

The system was doing something funny yesterday, logging me in and out immediately, which meant the thanks button turned on and off - seems to be back to normal now
