Are there meetings on here to work through steps

Would like to know how to work through the steps, as I have said before no AA meetings here apart from one last Monday of each month miles away and in French, dont have time to be waiting another month to start on steps

Hi Mummy!

The only type of "meeting" here at SoberRecovery was on chat, but they have been canceled. The chat room and the forums are always open if you need help.

There are subforums for the individual steps, but they don't see much traffic. I think the best thing to do is to post any questions you have in a general sort of way here in Newcomer's. For example, don't say "Looking for Debate on Step 1" but rather "Having Questions about Powerlessness."

But there are parts of the steps, such as sharing your moral inventory or making amends, that are best done in person.

To be clear, I don't post over there, so I don't know how active it is. Seems like most folks post in the Newcomers Forum. Also, you should try posting over on the 24 hour thread. We are a super fun group that takes our recovery one day at a time: http://www.soberrecovery.com/forums/...art-275-a.html

Is there no way to find them on Facebook or via the internet somehow? Still, I like your idea of writing a letter. Why couldn't you post it to some random address that you make up? Don't put a return address, that way the post office won't send it back to you for a "return to sender" type of situation. Maybe that way it would make you feel better having, you know, sent it off, getting it off your chest. Maybe keep a copy of said letters, that way if and when you do locate these people you can send them the letters to their correct addresses. Just a thought from a non AAer. :-)

Free Chat Rooms, 5000+ Chat Rooms to Chat for Free - Paltalk

used to go in the courage to change meeting and a couple others.they were relly good meetings- formatted like f2f meetings but no cameras. i could listen to people share from all over the world.
ya might want to check it out- look for the G rated meetings.

ok, click on the link in my last post. iffen ya look down int the left hand corner of the meeting names, you'll see the rating.
like the 164 alcoholics anonymous group- there is a G in a little redish square.
paltalk has to be downloaded and it may take a little time to learn how to navigate and find ya a meeting, but i have faith you can figger it out.

Have you worked those steps with someone who knows how to help? Cause we kinda don't work step 9 without first working the other ones first.

If you walked down the sidewalk, is there anyone you would want to avoid?

Maybe listen to Sandy B. on xa-speakers.org he does a series on the steps called Saturday Morning LIve. Just look to see the which step each "tape" refers to! Each is numbered, but I don't think they are in numerical order.
