Relapsed and so over it
I drank probably a pint worth of liquor last night and I'm laying here so hung over and have to be at work in a few hours. I'm sick of it. Thanks for reading, I just needed to type it.

I got rid of all the alcohol in the house. I need to make a plan this time and realize I can't drink normally.
I was at a relatives pool with friends and their kids this past weekend. A couple of the adults had a beer or 2. I had 6. I hate being that one.

Hey, Bananas,
Just get back up and start over.
I'm not suggesting you isolate yourself, but if you go to outings, more than likely there will be alcohol. Preparing yourself for this and having a "plan" should alcohol come out would be helpful.
Or, you could just decide to avoid all situations where alcohol will be in play for the first few weeks while you're getting your "sober legs" a little more sturdy.
Either way, you CAN do this.
One day at a time.

It's never to late to commit to sobriety again. Some people on here got sober using this board alone so you could spend more time on this board, or some other activity where you're actively fighting your drinking problem. Meetings, if you're into AA.
But I think there needs to be a daily commitment to making sobriety your #1 goal for the day, each day.
It's best to avoid tempting situations, especially in the beginning, and also best to avoid tempting yourself by fantasizing about drinking.
