Addiction Counselor

I have an appointment scheduled with a psychologist Thursday morning who specializes in alcohol addiction. I have 2 extremes going on in my head. Pure happiness and pure fear. It's time for me to address the issues that I have and quit dancing around them.

GOOD FOR YOU. I have a pycho't...he is good- because I try to be completely honest at all times. No on purpose 'glossing over' or 'little white' lies.
Support to you.

Nice one hope it goes well. A clinical psychologist I met a few years ago was the most intelligent men I've ever come across. Helped me loads!

Going to your doctor will be just like
going to school to learn a new lesson.

However, this time you wont be
learning arithmetic or spelling, but
rather it will be about addiction to
alcohol, meds etc. Toxic, poisonous,
controlling substances that affect
your mind, body and spirit.

We are all made up differently inside,
wired differently, and these toxic substances
do one heck of a number to our insides.

So it is important to learn about the
hows and why addiction affects you
from head to toe.

In learning this then you can finally
begin repairing the damage it has
done and begin the healing process
and become healthy and happy we
all strive for.

Pick up helpful, effective recovery tools
to incorporate in all areas of your life and
rely on for yrs to come. Put addiction in its
place and replace it with a strong, solid
recovery foundation to live your life upon
moving forward.

Wish you a successful appointment on
Thursday and hope you stay connected
to SR letting us know how things are
going.
