Hardest day yet.
I am on day 14 and went to a kids birthday party with my son. Every adult was drinking except me. The urge and cravings were present but I held strong and just ate some food. A huge victory for me and my new way of life. Stay strong everybody!

Funny how a child's birthday party is a natural drinking moment. I'm glad you were the stand up, amazing parent! Nice job!! You're son was proud of you too I'm sure, even if he is too young to express it.
Great job on pushing through the urge. It gets easier every time you resist!

Huge congrats!! Way to go. One of the things that really got me to finally quit (a mere six days ago) was a few looks I got from my 14 year old son when I was drinking. What a POS I felt like, setting an example like that. Your son got to watch his dad be the only one NOT drinking! Kudos!!
