Please please help me *Trigger Warning*

I am an alcoholic, anorexic, borderline girl.

i have been working hard with AA but i just cant stay sober for more then two days. Everytime i go on a bender i end up in hospital, because i become suicidal and self harm very badly. I also hear voices and they are ruining my life and i just keep self medicating with booze.

Please help. How can i stay away from the drink? i'm at the end of my tether.

hi bubbles - welcome

being a regular poster here, daily or even more than that, really helped me. i needed to be reminded everyday that i needed to make different decisions if i wanted to change my life.

it's really hard to change, and it's no fun in the early days, but the support i found here, especially in those hard days, was magic.

I once couldn't go 3 days without a drink- now I'm over 10 years sober.

It really is possible

D

Hiya!!

Welcome.

Like Dee said - stick here every day as a great tool.

But also, having a face-to-face program like AA even part time was tremendously helpful to me.

Also - given that you shared about Anorexia and Borderline - I would strongly advocate your working with a qualified therapist. Cross-addictions and co-mingled mental health issues along with addiction take an extra measure of support and care.

You deserve sobriety and happiness and you CAN have both.

I was married to a woman who was borderline and who refused to address it. I learned a lot about it in the process of our marriage (and subsequent divorce). It's something that can be dealt with if you choose to.

Again, welcome. We're glad you're here.

This is something that no amount of online support or independent work is going to crack. Are you seeing a doctor?

Edit: just saw your most recent post.. I am glad to hear you have support.
