I'm almost back to a month with no booze after my one night out(slip,whatever..) at about 7 months sober. Anyways..When I would drink vodka(mainly a beer person) at the bar I would mix it with energy drinks. So, I just had a sugar free redbull and as soon I finished the small can off, I got physically ill! My partner saw me rush for the bathroom during our morning meeting and came to check on me. He knows I'm not drinking and if I did knows I'd tell him(he cares but, doesn't care, if that makes sense?). When I told him what happened, he compared it to getting food poisoning from a certain food and getting sick when you try to eat it again. I can see how that could be possible. I don't think I'll be drinking anymore redbull or any energy drink again.

Empty stomach? Artificial sweeteners are gastric agitates to a lot of people.

Actually I was on an empty stomach. I've also been dealing with some allergy crud the past couple of days.
