You Can't Drink If You're Sleeping

If you're struggling, just get through today. The craving will pass.

Go to sleep sober and wake up tomorrow without regret. I don't know about you, but I've never been happy about coming to after a binge. It's always days of regret and shame.

I'm happy to be sober today. I can honestly say that. I want sobriety so bad.

I LOVE the title you used for the thread!! One of my techniques to get through a day has been what I call the "Send myself to bed early" trick. Or take a nap. Whatever - a "break" in alertness, and especially at the beginning, time for my body to heal while I slept, has been one of my best friends!

Yep.. rest and sleep is prob the most important aspect of recovery.

I used to go to bed by 8pm .. Netflix was my best friend!
