Ugggghhh! This fellow introvert knows how you feel! I like my house to be quiet as a mouse. Unless, of course, there is good music to be played - then it gets loud up in here! Hope you get some peace soon.

I've said the Serenity Prayer a many
a times to help calm me down and it
never fails. I'll say it over and over
and over again until whatever I'm
going thru passes.
It doesn't make folks disappear but it
does help me go to a place of peace
in knowing I'm not alone in that time
of despair.
I hope this helps.
God grant me the Serenity to
accept the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can,
and Wisdom to know the difference.

invasion of space can be unsettling. we have a house rule that no one gets to just "drop by" without prior arrangement of the visit. i get super cranky. i''m glad they left and you have some peace now.
