Holy crap - my Pulse is in the 60's!

I am day 32 with no alcohol.

Prior to me stopping, after a good nights drinking my resting pulse would be 100+.

That scared the crap out of me. I only have one heart and for sure I was using it up.

I feel so much more calm, so much more content.

Man this feels good!

Congratulations on 32 days sober, Therpy! Yes, sobriety does feel good, and the longer you go, the better it feels. I will be five months sober next week, and loving every minute of it.

Keep up the awesome work!

Feeling totally calm is one of the best aspects to recovery! It's amazing how much more we're able to see (and enjoy) once the chains begin to break away and we become free from alcohol.

Keep going...

Tachycardia is common with sedative-hypnotic withdrawal. Isn't it nice to feel somewhat normal?

Alcohol is a nasty, nasty drug for some people.

Good for you therpy, seems all kinds of positive mental and physical changes happen with sobriety. I love it

Great to hear therpy. The calming effect of a low pulse and proper blood pressure is very comforting in my opinion.

My bp was always hovering in between normal and "you might want to start taking measures to control your bp". Since i quit smoking and drinking my bp is now usually 115/65 or so. That being down from 125-130/80-85.
