Talking 6 Years Sober !!!
So I am now at the 6 year mark of my sobriety. It feels pretty amazing to be where I am. I still get the flashbacks of my first year and how terrible it was. I was so lost and anxious. I had been drinking since age 16, and at 24 when I quit I didn't really know how to live, and how to deal with everyday life. It's 6 years later, and I feel that I'm still learning. Every day is a chance to better yourself, and live a better life. I'm so glad that I not only got sober when I did, but I made it through all the hard times, and am now a stronger person because of it. Thank you to everyone on here that supported me back in my first 2 years. I was scared and had lots of questions, and this site had so many nice people that responded to me and made me feel like everything was going to be alright.
